Two from Transformation Strategies Named to MSPmentor 250, Managed Services Industry Leadership List

New York, NY October 9, 2009 -- Transformation Strategies, Inc. – a leader in managed services consulting, training and coaching – today announced that two of its principals, David S. Schafran and Michael Halperin have been named to the second annual MSPMentor250. Schafran, Transformation Strategies’ President, was also on the inaugural MSPmentor 250 list in 2008, while Halperin was named for the first time.

MSPmentor™ and its parent Nine Lives Media, Inc publish the MSPmentor 250 list each year to recognize influential people in the Managed Services industry. It strives to identify the world’s top managed service provider (MSP) executives, entrepreneurs and experts across a number of disciplines (business, technology, marketing, sales, PR and more). In order to be considered for the 2009 edition of the MSPmentor 250, individuals were nominated by their peers with final selection of the top 250 names based upon a range of factors including executive experience, innovations, momentum, and overall track record.

This year's report was compiled from over 1,000 submissions worldwide from MSPs, software-as-a-service (SaaS) experts, and industry peers. Our second-annual MSPmentor 250 survey identified leading managed services experts from across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia," said Joe Panettieri, editorial director of MSPmentor, published by Nine Lives Media Inc. "Only the most distinguished leaders from the managed services industry landed on the final list."

“It is once again an honor to be recognized in the MSP industry”, said Schafran, an industry veteran whose Managed Services career dates to the mid-1990s. “I’m especially pleased that Transformation Strategies had two principals named to the list. We are very proud of the work we do helping MSPs to grow their businesses, and this honor is a validation of that.”

“I am proud to be named to the MSPmentor 250”, said Halperin, who worked as an executive with several large MSPs, including Sprint and Akibia, prior to his work with Transformation Strategies. “Being recognized with people like David and the others on this list is truly an honor.”
