MSPAlliance announces new Monthly Call as forum for open dialog in the MSP community, call to be mod

Orlando, FL May 1, 2009 -- Today at MSPWorld, MSPAlliance President Charles Weaver announced the creation of the Monthly MSPAlliance Call, an open forum for the MSP community to discuss the latest trends and topics facing the global managed services profession. Rather than the traditional webinar format, the monthly call will be a moderated discussion encouraging open participation. Moderated by David Schafran of Transformation Strategies (www.TransStrat.com), the calls will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 2pm ET / 11am PT. “Charles wanted to create an additional venue for MSPs to be able to speak directly with their peers, discuss the challenges they face and share solutions, so we created this monthly call with an interactive discussion format”, said Schafran. The first call, to take place on Wednesday June 10th, 2009, will focus on avoiding the pressure to commoditize. Future topics will be suggested in advance by the managed services community via email to MSPACall@TransStrat.com and the selected topic will be posted in advance on the MSPAlliance website www.mspalliance.com.
