MSPAlliance announces new Monthly Call as forum for open dialog in the MSP community, call to be moderated by David Schafran President of Transformation Strategies
Orlando, FL May 1, 2009 -- Today at MSPWorld, MSPAlliance President Charles Weaver announced the creation of the Monthly MSPAlliance Call, an open forum for the MSP community to discuss the latest trends and topics facing the global managed services profession. Rather than the traditional webinar format, the monthly call will be a moderated discussion encouraging open participation. Moderated by David Schafran of Transformation Strategies (www.TransStrat.com), the calls will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 2pm ET / 11am PT. “Charles wanted to create an additional venue for MSPs to be able to speak directly with their peers, discuss the challenges they face and share solutions, so we created this monthly call with an interactive discussion format”, said Schafran.
The first call, to take place on Wednesday June 10th, 2009, will focus on avoiding the pressure to commoditize. Future topics will be suggested in advance by the managed services community via email to
MSPACall@TransStrat.com and the selected topic will be posted in advance on the MSPAlliance website

New York, NY December 2007 -- Transformation Strategies, Inc., a leader in managed services consulting has announced it is working with Do IT Smarter of San Diego (
www.doitsmarter.com), a distributor of managed services for VARs, Systems Integrators and Telephony companies, on the creation of their MSAP Certification Training Program.
The program which will be marked by Do IT Smarter will offer both Basic and Advanced levels of training intended to prepare Managed Services Providers (MSPs) to take the MSP Alliance’s certification exam.
Transformation Strategies will contribute content and deliver some training classes. The Basic course is expected to be available from Do IT Smarter via their website in January 2008.

Creation of MSP Roundtable Service – September 2007
New York, NY September 2007 - Transformation Strategies, Inc., a leader in managed services consulting has formed “the MSP Roundtable”, a new peer group service for owners and executives of Managed Services Providers (MSP) to have the opportunity to work with their peers to address common and individual challenges they face.
“As managed services consultants, the most frequent question we hear is ‘What are other MSPs doing?’”, explained Transformation Strategies’ President David S. Schafran, “MSP owners and executives want to know what is and is not working for their peers. This service gives them to opportunity to meet regularly as a group to address their issues, get feedback and new ideas.”
The MSP Roundtable groups will be comprised of approximately ten MSPs with non-competing markets. Meeting quarterly, the groups cover sales, marketing, operations and finance. Transformation Strategies is currently accepting applications to create groups of MSPs with similar models. The groups are expected to begin meeting in the first quarter of 2008.
